# Newt: Discord Bot for Server Owners and Moderators

Newt is a Discord bot built around one idea: give server owners the tools they actually need, with nothing forced on them. With 160+ commands covering moderation, member engagement, analytics, role management, and more, Newt handles the operational work so you can focus on building your community. Everything is **off by default** — you switch on only what you want, and each feature is fully independent. Use the ratings system without moderation, run giveaways without welcome messages, or turn on the lot. Nothing runs until you say so.
