# Server Statistics: Insights for Your Discord Community

> View member join and leave trends, popular roles, message activity, guild tags, and member badge counts — all readable by everyone in the server.

The `/stats` commands give everyone in your server a snapshot of how it's growing and what's happening inside it. No special permissions are needed to run them — any member can pull up any of these reports at any time, making the data transparent to your whole community.

These commands carry short cooldowns because each one scans every member in the server to build its results. If Discord tells you to slow down, that's why — it's not a bug, just the natural cost of reading a large member list. Similarly, `/stats activity` only reads channels you already have access to, so it can't surface messages from channels you can't see.
