# Daily wisdom

> A philosopher's quote each day, drawn on a picture.

## <Icon icon="gauge" size={24} /> Set it up

On the dashboard's **Daily wisdom** tab:

1. Tick **Post a quote every day**.
2. Pick the channel and the hour (UTC).
3. Pick the picture's colours and the roles to ping.
4. Save.

The quotes come with Newt: Marcus Aurelius, Lao Tzu, Seneca, Confucius and others. There's nothing to write.

    Posts the next quote. It counts as today's.

* Each server goes through the whole list in its own order, then starts over.
* The dashboard shows which quote is next.

**Permission:** `/wisdom now` needs Manage Server. `/wisdom quote` is for everyone.
